Foz performed the research which has now become Eddysense’s technology while employed as a Research Fellow at the Department of Physics in the University of Warwick. Foz is an experienced researcher, and has worked with a broad range experimental techniques and technologies.
Eddysense’s technology has been Foz’s ‘pet project’ for over 4 years.
Derek originally qualified as an accountant and moved into commerce and industry early on in his career, working in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, defence, electronics and utilities. Progressing through various senior financial positions a great deal of business management knowledge was gathered along the way.
Now an investor and entrepreneur, Derek uses his extensive business experience to help smaller companies to grow and develop and holds a number of Executive and Non-Executive Director positions. Derek also applies his knowledge to the charity sector on a voluntary basis.
Steve leads the Ultrasound Group at the Department of Physics in the University of Warwick. He has worked with a variety of non-destructive testing technologies for over 25 years, and in that time has built up a large network of industrial contacts. Steve currently holds a Royal Society Industry Fellowship a market leader in aircraft engine manufacturing, and is tasked with finding innovative non-destructive testing techniques for their use.
Kevin is the Chief Operating Officer at Warwick Ventures (the University of Warwick’s technology transfer office) and has considerable experience of running small and large companies. He has a background in electronic engineering and has spent much of his working life in electronic and automotive industries.
